Matt Pryce
Managing Director, Electrical Services
Matthew completed an electrical apprenticeship with WMC in 1986 and commenced work with National Mine Management in 1990. He soon progressed to Electrical Superintendent and was responsible for all underground electrical design, installation and supervision at multiple sites in Queensland (Mt Elliot), New South Wales (Cobar), Victoria (Bendigo), Western Australia (Mt Dimer, Yilgarn Star, Golden Chief, Mt Morgans and Mt Pleasant), and Tasmania (Mt Lyall).
Matthew was instrumental in upgrading Mt Lyall to 1000V power; the first mine in Tasmania to do so.

Lewy Pryce
Managing Director,
Mining
Lewis began work as an underground labourer in 1989 and worked his way through a variety of underground disciplines. He has held a Western Australian Supervisors Certificate of Competency since 1998, which has also allowed him to hold the Underground Manager position in smaller mines.
In 2004, Lewis established Barstow Mining Pty Ltd; a labour hire company which successfully provided labour to the underground mining industry from 2004 to 2012. Working in large scale mines including Olympic Dam, Cadia, Argyle Diamond Mine, and Renison Bell.
In 2013, Lewis accepted the role of Mining Superintendent at the Argyle Diamond Mine, which successfully completed the underground block cave in March 2021, hitting a peak production of 600,000t/month from underground in 2020.
Today, backed by 30 years of experience in the mining industry and having worked with mining companies and contractors across Australia, Lewis specialises in safely managing underground operational activities.

David Sheahan
Business Development and Recruitment Manager
David Sheahen is a mining veteran. Starting as a miner some 48 years ago, working in all areas over that period finishing with large projects.
As the Asset and Recruitment Manager, David, is an integral part of the Pryce Mining Services management team, where his knowledge and network contacts across the industry is vast in all areas of underground mining.

David has a Diploma in Frontline Management, is a Member of AusIMM and holds an Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency.

Amanda Major
Administration Manager
Amanda Major joined Pryce Mining Services in December 2021 as Administration Manager. Prior to this, she was the Senior Finance Officer for various regional local government agencies.
Her main duties include payroll, creditors and debtors and she prides herself on the accuracy of all payments and accounts.
